In a matter of hours on Friday, Typhoon Haiyan completely devastated parts of the central Philippines. It was one of the strongest storms ever recorded. The death toll is estimated up to 10,000 with hundreds of thousands more displaced. The country has declared a “state of calamity.”
Instead of using paint as a medium the artist used some kind of a garter or some cloth made out of i dunno what it’s called. haha. But it was so creative that it pops out and catches anyone’s attention.
One of the T’boli tribes and I assure that they are authentic in a sense that they have there own accent and really made some weaving thing by hand. No high-tech machines used only an improvised bamboos and some threads/yarns with the touch of there tribe’s culture and designs.
Had a shoot with my sister ‘cause somehow we need to get out of the stress. So here it is, "The maiden".Actually I just thought of the title just right when I am writing this post. I’m such a procrastinator, does the “title” even fit to the photo?
